I’m a passionate pharmacy technician and educator who truly believes in the power of connection and growth. My journey into teaching began when I discovered how much I enjoyed training others while working in the pharmacy field. There was something fulfilling about guiding someone through a process, helping them build confidence, and seeing that moment when everything finally clicked. When I realized that teaching pharmacy technicians was an actual career path, I knew I had to pursue it, and I haven’t looked back since. As the Lead Pharmacy Technician Instructor at Northwest Career College, I combine my hands-on experience with compassion, structure, and a lot of heart. I’ve been with the college for over three years and have had the honor of helping open a second campus while mentoring future pharmacy professionals. I love watching my students grow, not just in their skills, but in their confidence and sense of purpose. I work hard to create a classroom environment where students feel supported, heard, and empowered to succeed, not just academically, but in life. My work ethic is deeply rooted in dedication, empathy, and integrity. I show up for my students because I want them to know someone believes in them. At the same time, I’ve learned the importance of taking care of myself so I can continue showing up as the best version of who I am, both inside and outside the classroom. Now, as a Board Member for the Nevada Pharmacy Alliance, I’m excited to extend my impact even further. I joined the Board to help elevate the voice of fellow pharmacy technicians. I’m committed to inspiring future minds, building strong pharmacy communities, and continuing to shape the next generation of professionals who will make a difference, just like I strive to every day.
